Whenever your thinking about redesigning a room in your home you shouldn't forget to put a lot of time into considering the style and position of the light fixtures. Even if you pay an expert to take care of this part of the process its important that you play a role in deciding where the lights go. The reason for this is of course that you are the one who is going to use them, but also that you understand better how the space will be used by yourself and the family.
Consider such things as where you will need extra light, the ease of use of the many different light fixtures available and how much you want to spend.
The rooms where you will want to spend extra time considering the lighting will be the kitchen, bathroom and living room. Basically put your time and effort into making the lighting perfect in the rooms where you will spend most of your waking hours.
